About Naomhóga Chorcaí

The club ethos involves encouraging the sport of rowing, good craic and beagáinín gaeilge (a spoonful of irish). There are over 200 members that make use of the 16 currachs that the club uses. We have an almost complete collection of the various types of currachs that were in use around the west coasts of Ireland.

The club boasts of 5 working Naomhógs (considered the pinnacle of currach evolution), 2 low profile racing currachs, a 3 hand aran island currach, a 2 hand naomhóg and 6 dunfanaghys.
