Interested in trying your hand at rowing a currach?
We meet at Shandon boat club every Saturday morning at 10.30am.
Day membership is €5, this includes insurance, tuition and a life jacket.
All welcome - no experience necessary, sense of adventure welcomed, sense of humour - sin an tabhtach!
How do you get to the Shandon Boat club?
From Cork City Hall - cycle/walk/drive down towards the Docks, pass the Idle hour pub (if you can) and proceed to the round about.
Take the 1st exit down Centre Park road - follow the road until it meets the river and turn left. The Shandon Rowing club is at the end of the road.
